  16. 1/2 tablespoon garlic paste
  17. 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  18. 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  19. 1 chicken cube/bullion
  20. vegetables
  21. 1 cup carrot, cubbed or julliene
  22. 1/3 cup chopped or julliene capsicum
  23. 1 cup cabbage
  24. 1/2 cup onions cut in cubes
  25. 5 tablespoon chopped green onions
  26. Sauces
  27. 1/2 cup tomato ketchup
  28. 4 tablespoon chilli garlic sauce, or spicy ketchup
  29. 1 tablespoon vinegar
  30. 4 tablespoon cornflour, mixed in 4 tablespoon of water
  31. for russian sauce
  32. 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  33. 1/4 cup tomato ketchup
  34. 2 tablespoon chilli garlic sauce, or spicy ketchup
  35. 4 tablespoon milk or water to thin sauce
  36. for rice
  37. 2 cups rice, soaked
  38. 2 pepper
  39. 2 tablespoon salt, or to taste
  40. garnish
  41. 2-3 tablespoon oil to fry
  42. 6 fat garlic, sliced
  43. 6-8 chillies, cut length-wise half and seeds removed
  44. 100 grams noodles, boiled (about ¼ packet of 400 gram pack)

Instructions to make to make Singaporean rice

  1. Marinate Chicken
    In a bowl mix all the ingredients to marinate chicken. Marinate for at least 30 minutes or overnight in fridge.
    Cover and cook chicken for 20 minutes on medium heat until tender. Set aside.
  2. For gravy
    In another pan, heat oil and fry the ingredient of seasoning for few seconds. Then, add the vegetables. Cook for 5 minutes until the carrots are soft, keep stirring.
    Now add the sauces, mix well.
    Then add the cornflour slurry and water. Mix and cook until sauce thicken.
  3. Add chicken and green onions. Mix well and do a taste test. Adjust tikka masala only if needed. Also adjust salt as needed. Gravy is ready.
  4. Mix all the ingredient of Russian sauce in a bowl and set aside.
    Cook 2 cups rice with salt and peppercorn. Set aside.
    Fry garlic in oil until golden and crispy. Set aside on kitchen towel to crisp.
    In the same oil fry chilies until you see a few brown spots.
  5. In the same oil, fry spaghetti for a minutes until warm.
    garlic sace is spicy garlic ketchup. Substitute it with more ketchup, ½ teaspoon garlic powder and ½Chilli teaspoon red chilli powder.
  6. Assemble
    In a plate serve rice and top it with alyer of gravy. Spread some noodles over it. Finish with russian sauce, garlic and fried chillies. Serve hot.
  7. You may switch vegetables as per preference.
    It can be served with fried or garlic rice too instead of plain rice.
    You may add spaghetti in gravy if you like.
    If you like more spaghetti, you may double the measures and add them to the gravy.
    You can switch spaghetti for macaroni or other pasta too.
