- 5 Sliced onions
- 1 tsp kewra water
- 1/2 cup Chopped coriander leaves
- 1/2 cup Mint leaves
- 2 tbsps Ghee
- as needed Oil

- Mix all the ingredients in the marination list.Marinate for 1-2 hrs.
- Boil rice along with the ingredients in the list.Dont cook it completely.Remove & strain once the rice are half cooked
- Heat oil & fry onions till they are golden and crispy.
- In a deep thick vessel,heat 4 tsp ghee.Add marinated chicken & cook at medium flame for 10-15 mins
- Evenly spread rice & make a layer.Spread fried onions, coriander leaves, chopped mint leaves,kewra water,2 tsp ghee.
- Cover the lid & seal it with flour dough.Cook for 5-10 mins.
- Place a hot tawa below the vessel & cook for another 25-30 mins in low flame
- Once it cools down,serve hot biryani with raita or mint chutney.
