  12. 4 tbsp Coriander whole
  13. 4 tbsp I used Fennel seeds , out of recipe
  14. 8 cups Water
  15. Column 2
  16. 3/4 cup Oil
  17. 750 gm Rice soaked
  18. 2 Black Cardamom
  19. 1 inch Cinnamon stick
  20. 6 Cloves
  21. 6 Black pepper
  22. 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic heaped
  23. 1 tsp Chilli powder
  24. 1 tsp Green chillies grinded heaped
  25. 3/4 cup Brown onions
  26. 1 1/2 tsp Salt
  27. 1 cup Yogurt heaped

Steps to make to make Mutton Yakhni Palau!

  1. Make a spice bag with Onion 2 slice, Ginger Julienne 1 tbsp, Black pepper 20, Cloves 10, Cinnamon 2 inch piece, Black cardamom 2, Small cardamom 2, Garlic 1 pod, Salt 1 tsp heaped, Anise seeds 3 tbsp, Coriander whole 4 tbsp.
  2. Add in a pan with mutton and 8 cups of water, cook till mutton nearly done and 4 cups stock left.
  3. Heat oil add whole spices in ingredients of column 2, with ginger garlic paste, and few mint leaves for good aroma.
  4. Fry well by adding little little water then add all the seasoning with brown onion and yogurt, fry well (I also added one tomato cubes in it and few mint leaves)
  5. Add boiled mutton, cover and cook for 10 minutes, then add left over stock.
  6. When stock boiling add soaked rice, cook on medium flame for 10 minutes then lower heat, cook for 15 minutes till done.
